We think TimeForTelly is the best catch-up TV search service, and Freeview TV listings guide, out there. If you haven’t managed to check out the whole site yet, or want a quick guide, here’s how it works…….

TimeForTelly is a comprehensive online service that pulls together in one simple website the links to all your favourite catch-up TV from BBC iPlayer, 4oD, ITV Player and Demand Five, as well as providing future TV listings from all the main Freeview channels, and an “on-tv-now” section which also displays live feeds from Twitter

Under our mantra of “catch up in a click!”, we get you straight to the programmes that you want to watch, if you missed them on telly. Click on a programme play button, and it’ll take you straight through to the play page of the web-player of the broadcaster whose channel it was on. Or if you click on the programme name, it’ll take you to the relevant “showpage” where we list the other episodes of the show (available on catch up tv, and coming soon), as well as what people are saying about the show, or that episode, on Twitter!

In our main Catch-Up TV guide you can look for your favourite shows, regardless of what channel they were on, using our ‘search’ function. Or, if you don’t have something specific you’re looking for, you can browse by category (e.g. TV dramas, or comedy on TV), by date or by TV channel. To make it even easier, we show you the most popular programmes in each category. And if you just want inspiration, check out our great recommendations in the rotating carousel at the top of our site.

The ‘On TV Now’ section gives you an up to the minute break down of what’s on TV now, on the main Freeview channels, as well as what people are saying about the shows live on Twitter. Think of it as your live TV guide.

Our Freeview TV listings guide, in our ‘Future TV’ tab, allows you to search for an upcoming TV programme on Freeview, or simply browse through future TV programmes by category, date or channel. You can also choose to see the TV listings in the more traditional grid format for TV listings if you prefer.

And if you register with us, then under the ‘My Telly’ section, you’ll find a longer list of recommendations for you, and we store the links to any of the shows you mark as “favourites” (just click on the star…)..

Finally, in our television ‘blog’ section, the TimeForTelly team aim to regularly alert you to the hot new programmes to check out….we tell you a bit about what we think of the show, and, if it’s available on catch-up TV, provide that all-important link to watch it!

Two ageing gentlemen, Freddie (Ian McKellen) and Stuart (Derek Jacobi) still share the same flat in Covent Garden as they did 50 years ago. You might think their incessant camp bickering couldn’t sustain a full TV series, but the writing’s good, with some great comic lines delivered by McKellen and Jacobi, who are clearly enjoying being still at the top of their acting game.
